Arguably if you have just one board in your quiver then let it be a simple pintail single fin . From 6′ to 8′, and sometime longer, you cannot find a more versatile waveriding vehicle . The flatter rocker & bigger planing area give you a board that paddles amazingly , flies round sections & draws out your turns adding to your speed not scrubbing it off . You don’t have to grow your hair & wear tighter board shorts but it helps 🙂
