The natural progression from Matt Kivlin & Joe Quiggs Malibu Chip board , Dale Velzy designed the ‘Pig’ surfboard in 1955 . Suddenly kids everywhere would only be riding ‘Pigs’ , shifting the wide point back made the board far easier to turn , to pivot in small waves . We love the design & have pulled the nose in even more, achieving less swing weight in a board that noserides for days & turns on a dime !
